What Other Activities Will Keep The House Owner Busy On The Island?

There are so many things to do on the island of Cyprus that there will never be a dull day, even the cool and few rainy days that occur on the island. Some of the things that there are to do is the fun on the beaches of course, that include swimming and sun bathing, jet skiing and water skiing, there are boats that can be rented and fishing both off the beach and out in the sea. There are the boats of fishermen that can be watched along with the birds. The waves and at the end of the day when the fishing boats come in for the night there is the fresh catch that can be taken home or also found in the local restaurant.

For other summer fun there are places that the family can have a day of fun like the Aphrodite Water Park that is filled with slides of all kinds and for every age that the entire family will have a day of fun.

The mountains are filled with trails that can take hours to walk among the forests that have seen centuries of history, that are filled with greenery, wild birds and flowers where animals play among the lush trees and plants.

For the cooler days there is skiing and there is also all of this historical sites that can be visited daily for a walk back in time and there are also the many museums that can be visited that have pieces of the islands history all under the dryness of a building for the days that rain has decided to fall on the island.

There are stores for shopping that can be found in other countries and also the stores that are local to the island, the restaurants that serve international cuisine and those that serve the dishes that are only found on the island. There are clubs and theaters for evening entertainment and there are also activities for the children in the family including fast food places like McDonalds

Then there are the lists of events that appear in the newspaper, some are meant for residents of the island, but then there are others that both the residents and tourists will enjoy such as the Greek Dancing Show that takes place every Tuesday night located in the Nectar Bar in the Athena Beach Hotel.
